It is a packing made with pure PTFE yarns, reinforced on the corners with Aramtex® yarn with the insertion of an expanded graphite core inside the diagonal construction structure, which improves the softness, thermal and mechanical resistance characteristics of the classic 4146 packing. Thanks to the insertion in the core (central part of the packing) of expanded graphite filaments we have improved the flexibility of the packing and its compression capacity thanks to the greater softness of the yarn. Graphite’s heat, chemical resistance and longevity have technically improved the packing compared to classic packing.
