The basalt braid consists of an inner core of Artica® or Tricotex braid and an 12-13 micron basalt outer sheath that resist temperatures from -260°C up to +700°C. The outer braiding prevents dust formation.

Heat protection, covering of cables, insulation of pipes and exhaust pipes, electrical insulation. Aerospace, aeronautics, naval, automotive, stoves, fireplace , chemical, petrochemical and thermal power plants.
