Metaltex 2B is the Texpack® evolution in the assembly technology sector to guarantee the durability of the gasket over the time. Metaltex 2B is part of the family of Texpack® flat reinforced graphite gaskets and has a particular characteristic that increases sealing capacity: the presence of an internal reinforcement ring made of AISI 316. The internal ring prevents contact between the fluid and the seal material, improves resistance to the abrasive action of the fluid and at the same time increases the resistance to pressure of the gasket. It also prevents erosion of the internal edge, avoiding leakage between the foil and graphite and thereby preserving mechanical properties over time. The external border has the function of containing the graphite foil. Continuous maintenance of its characteristics and a significant reduction in fluid or gaseous leaks guarantee better safety and efficiency.
